The first Wednesday of May is National Travel Advisor Appreciation Day.  It's an important day because I get to celebrate this AMAZING industry and highlight why it's so important to plan and book your next trip with a TRAVEL ADVISOR.  

What are the benefits of using a Travel Advisor?

Travel Advisors are CONNECTED.  We take Specialist Courses, attend Webinars, In-Person Trainings, Conferences and Familiarization trips, join endless agent groups, just so we can increase our knowledge, and build networks and connections in order to offer you the best adventures and vacations possible.  Travel advisors stay up to date on destinations, changing entry protocols, and are not only expert travellers, but are highly trained and licensed sellers of travel.  This leads into the next point...

And this point is pretty amazing.  By booking with a Travel Advisor, you are supporting a small business.  How easy is that?  You are supporting someone's livelihood, you are supporting someone's family, you are supporting someone's goals and dreams and there is nothing better than that.  So the next time you are thinking about booking your next adventure, pay that small service fee when asked.  Understand that you are hiring someone that is going to take care of you, give everything they can to make sure you have an experience of a lifetime and will be there to support and guide you the entire journey.
